About Us

Joe Garcia is the founder of Energetx Systems, LLC.  Prior to forming Energetx Systems, Joe was the co-founder of Energetx, LLC, a company that was created in partnership with Alfa Laval AB, to be the exclusive representative of Alfa Laval’s heating/ cooling systems and air products for the North American market. Joe has held various positions within the district energy market, such as District Energy Manager for N.A. at Alfa Laval Inc. where he worked with universities and consultants on district energy projects, specifically energy transfer station designs and specifications. Joe first joined Alfa Laval as a project manager with the Engineering and Supply group. In this position he managed one of the largest district energy project for Alfa Laval, to date, Stanford Universities SESI project.  While heading up this project Joe received high level training by collaborating with Alfa Laval's Scandinavian team. The highly regarded Scandinavian team has over 50 years of experience and provided Joe with hands-on, on-site training  in district energy and best engineering practices.

Prior to joining Alfa Laval, Joe held various positions within the pharmaceutical industry as a project manager. Joe has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA
